If your ceiling fan only misbehaves when the fan and the light are used at the same time, stop using both together until the installation has been checked.
Check the installation
- Confirm the fan was installed exactly as described in the manual, including wiring, mounting and the remote receiver.
- Make sure the fan isn't connected to a dimmer or an incompatible wall control, unless the manual says it's supported.
- Turn the power off for at least 10 seconds, then back on, and test again.
Stop using it and contact us if you notice
