Only use the parts that came with your fan, or the ones listed in its manual. We don't recommend generic pole extenders, longer downrods or third-party mounting accessories unless your fan's manual specifically says they're compatible.

Sloped or vaulted ceilings
Check your fan's manual for the maximum ceiling slope and the mounting options it supports. If your ceiling is steeper than the manual allows, the fan isn't suitable for that location. Your manual is on our Product Instruction Manuals page.
